BOVIDS OF ASIA (2025)
SCREENPRINTING & ILLUSTRATION, INSTRUCTOR: AMY COUSINS
A screenprinted tapestry made with mixed dyes, and made to pay homage
to endangered or near extinct bovids of Asia.
PROCESS
I love animals, yet (at the time), I haven’t been able to do many projects that focused
primarily on them. With this project, I focused (once again), on my Korean background and
my love for animals in the bovid family. I drew the pattern with fineliners, than mixed
the dyes to make the colors.
